Our latest cause
Making the ocean accessible to all
Access to Adventure is a Northland charitable trust opening the ocean to people living with disabilities, chronic health conditions and mental health challenges. Its 16 metre catamaran, based at Marsden Cove Marina, has been redesigned with people with lived experience: wheelchair-accessible ramps, a fully accessible bathroom, generous indoor space and adaptive fishing gear.
Trips are free for participants, across Northland and Auckland, and the first adventures set off in summer 2026. The Freemasons of Whangārei are proud to stand behind them.

Local families get together to buy, sell and recycle gently used kids items: clothing, toys, books and equipment, from budget-friendly bargains to unique designer finds. Got kids items piling up? Book a table, or come on the day to grab some awesome items.
Sausage sizzle provided by Freemasons of Whangārei, with all proceeds going to KidsCan. Come down and support a great cause.
